How did The Rev from Avenged Sevenfold die?

Hi guys, now I want to tell about the fact that the death of Avenged Sevenfold The Rev Jimmy Sullivan. Want to know the news? Please Check

Jimmy Sullivan died of an accidental overdose.

The Rev was found dead in his Huntington Beach home on Monday Dec 27th, 2009. It was originally being called natural causes. This is usually what is stated if there is no outward sign of trauma, but in a 2006 interview with "Revolver" magazine, Sullivan admitted to the use of cocaine and other drugs. An autopsy was done, but the results were inconclusive. The Orange County Sheriff's Office stated that the coroner's office ordered toxicology, microscopic and laboratory tests to be done.

Orange County Deputy Coroner Mitchell Sigal determined from toxicology tests that The Rev died of an accidental overdose of strong prescription painkillers and alcohol. His death was a result of acute polydrug intoxication due to combined effects of oxycodone, oxymorphone, diazepam/nordiazepam, and active intoxicant of alcohol. Sigal also noted that The Rev also had an enlarged heart, which was noted in the coroner's report as a "significant condition" that may have contributed to his death. An enlarged heart is commonly associated with prolonged drug abuse.

A side note: Some have been saying that there is a theory that he Jimmy Sullivan died of stomach cancer. This is due to the top hit of the Google search "the rev cause of death" being for an actor, known as the Rev, that died of stomach cancer. That Rev was named David Sheppard, and was born in 1929. This was not the same person.

Synyster Gates Moment

Do you remember the first time Slipknot got together for Iowa in pre-production or rehearsal?

It was a lot different than the first record. A lot of people had brought ideas to the table, but there was a lot of separation happening on the Iowa album. It was really dark. For the pre-production, we usually come prepared with it first and then sit down with the producer—Ross Robinson this time. He's got a really good approach. He brings you all right together in each other's faces and pushes you farther than you're willing to go. His approach is always, "Take it farther." When you think you can't give anymore, go ahead and give that extra even if it means giving everything up to commit to it. At that point in time, all that's important is the music and what you're trying to get across to people. It's brutal. Joey's hands would be bleeding at the end of the day. Every day, his hands would be bandaged up from how hard he was pushing and trying to open the envelope even bigger. That was a really cool thing with Paul. He always brought that to the table big time. We'd be like, "This is it right here," and he'd say, "No, there's something missing. That could be done a different way. There's another angle." He would play the part forward, backward, upside down, and in reverse. He'd change, add, and take away and do every solitary thing you can think of to alter it so he knew every single possibility of executing a part. His modem was open to so many different planets. I'm not really sure how many transmissions he was getting, but the way he would dissect a piece of music was unreal. His doing that kept everyone's minds open. It helped us stay true to what we felt was the real deal and not everybody else's opinion of it. We were giving truly what was part of ourselves.

JAKE EPSTEIN GETS READY FOR 'AMERICAN IDIOT'

Jake Epstein has already made a name for himself on television, with lead roles in The Zack Files and Degrassi: The Next Generation. It’s safe to say that the 24-year-old actor is making a name for himself on stage as well. He graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada back in 2008 and has since appeared in a number of theatre productions. Epstein starred as Melchior (a role originated by Glee’s Jonathan Groff) on last year’s national tour of Spring Awakening. He also appeared in the Toronto production of the Tony Award-winning Billy Elliot the Musical this past summer.
The Canadian actor will be playing one of the leads in the upcoming national tour of American Idiot -- the Green Day musical that picked up two Tony Awards last year. Shalom Life chats with Epstein about theatre and his new role in the rock-infused play, which will be kicking off its tour in Toronto on Dec. 28.
What drew you to American Idiot?
When I was 13 years old I went to see Green Day at the Hershey Centre in Missisauga, Ontario with my best friend at the time, Daniel Abrams. We were graduating Junior High school and felt like kings. This was the first live concert I’d ever seen in my life. It was a magical night. Green Day opened my eyes to a world of rock 'n' roll, screaming electric guitars, and the energy of a live show. Since that night I’ve wanted to be the band on that stage that I saw. That’s what drew me to American Idiot.
How would you describe your character?
I’m playing Will, a dude from the suburbs who is looking to make something of himself, along with his two best friends, Johnny and Tunny. The three have a plan to go to the city, but right before they’re set to go Will’s girlfriend tells him she is pregnant and so he stays behind to be a father. Will spends the musical dealing with his girlfriend, their baby, and the demons that go along with being “left behind."
What’s your favourite Green Day song?
Right now it’s “2000 Light Years Away.”
How does it feel to be kicking off the national tour in your home city?
Equally nerve-racking and exciting. Happy my friends can come and see it.
Have you gotten to meet Billie Joe Armstrong or any of the other Green Day band members?
Not yet.
You spent many years on Degrassi: The Next Generation. What do you miss about being on the show?
I guess I miss the feeling of playing a really great character, and not knowing what’s going to happen to him. Being on a TV show is a really creative thing.
The last time you appeared on Degrassi was in the TV movie Degrassi Goes Hollywood. Would you like to revisit your character again?
It really feels like a closed chapter of my life. I did it until the end and loved it. And I’ve moved on.
If you could play any character on stage, who would you pick?
The older I’ve gotten the more daunted I am by how many incredible roles there are out there that I’d kill to play. I’m sure in a month this will all change. But right now I’d pick Jamie Jr. in Long Day's Journey Into Night, Valmont in Dangerous Liaisons, or Brick in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof... there’s so many.
