1. Hold the pick with thumb and forefinger
2. Hold the pick so hard to not be separated when playing a melody
3. Forefinger's left hand pressing the fret 1 on string 1
4. Then, middle finger pressing the fret 2 on string 1
5. Then, ring finger pressing the fret 3 on string 1
6. Then, pinkie finger pressing the fret 4 on string 1
7. Do sequentially
8. After all that, move the forefinger to fret 2 and do as above
